After 16 years of dedicated service as our Office Manager, Glen Dale United Methodist Church invites you to join us in celebrating the retirement of Tonya Cross. Tonya has been a faithful and compassionate servant to our church family—keeping ministries organized, leading our compassion support for our neighbors, supporting pastors and volunteers, and extending Christ’s love and kindness to everyone who entered the church office.
We will hold a Retirement Celebration for Tonya on Sunday, November 30th, following worship. Please plan to stay after church to share your gratitude, stories, and well wishes as we celebrate Tonya’s many years of ministry among us.
In addition, a basket will be placed on the card table on November 9th and November 16th for anyone who would like to leave a note or card for Tonya. Take a moment to write a message of thanks, share a memory, or express how her work has blessed your life and our congregation.
For those who feel led, love offerings are entirely appropriate and encouraged as a way of showing appreciation for her many years of faithful service.
