Renew, Repent, and Refresh: Join Us for Lenten Lunches
As we enter the season of Lent, we are invited to step back from the busyness of our daily lives to focus on the essentials of our faith. This year, we have a wonderful opportunity to do just that alongside our neighbors through the Moundsville Area Ministerial Association (MAMA).
Our annual Lenten Lunch Program is back, offering a mid-week moment of peace and fellowship. Each Wednesday, a different local congregation will host a brief worship service centered on the Lenten lectionary readings, followed by a shared meal. It is a powerful way to repent of our sins, renew our faith in Jesus, and strengthen the bonds of our local Christian community.
The Weekly Schedule
All programs begin with worship at 12:00 PM, followed by a meal provided by the host church at 12:30 PM.

Why Attend?
Lent is often seen as a solitary journey, but it was never meant to be walked alone. These lunches provide:
-
Spiritual Nourishment: Hear diverse perspectives on the scriptures that lead us toward the Cross.
-
Community Connection: Break bread with friends and neighbors from across Moundsville’s various traditions.
-
A Sacred Pause: Give yourself a dedicated hour in the middle of your week to refocus on what truly matters.
Whether you can make it to one lunch or all five, we would love to see our congregation well-represented as we journey together toward Easter.
